Community Luncheon:

Each month, about 200 meals are served at our Community Luncheon which is served on the last Sunday of the month.  This outreach started as a mission project for the church youth. While the youth continue to help serve each month, various church groups share the responsibility of preparing the meals. This outreach is funded by a grant from the Huntingdon Presbytery Hunger Fund, church funds and other donations.

Christmas Luncheon:

For a number of years, we have provided a free luncheon on Christmas Day of turkey, ham, and the traditional accompaniment. This meal is geared for church families and individuals as well as people from the community who are looking for a good meal and friendship. The lunch is prepared and served by church members and preceded by a short worship service.

Community Bible School:

A number of local churches work together to provide Bible School for elementary aged children each summer.

Lewistown Presbyterian Church Bible School:

Along with sharing in the presentation of the community Bible School, we provide our own Bible School each summer.

Easter Egg Hunt:

On the Saturday of Easter weekend, we sponsor an Easter egg hunt for children at which they are also told the important news about why we celebrate Easter – the life, death and victorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
