Worship
We worship in the Reformed tradition of being centered on the Scripture. Our worship is traditional with the addition of some more contemporary songs each week.
We have been “shining the light of the gospel into the heart of Lewistown since 1785.” We exist to extend the transforming power of Jesus Christ into Lewistown, our environs and the world.
We would love to have you join your spiritual journey with ours. We have a number of programs for children and youth, small groups for adults and opportunities to serve for all ages. Our worship is enhanced by our excellent chancel choir, exuberant children’s vocal and bell choirs and adult bell choir. We worship in the Reformed tradition of being centered on the Scripture. The church continues to be involved in outreach to our community and beyond.
The church serves as host to various support groups. Narcotics Anonymous was orginally established in Mifflin County at “Clear Concepts” in 1996 as part of their service. It was suggested that the group should “branch out” and Narcotics Anonymous meetings were started at Lewistown Presbyterian Church.
